Hey everyone out there. My best friend Travis is looking to get into a band again. He was the drummer for the band Clever Enemy. He is an incredible drummer, and has a great voice. He is looking to sing now. If anyone is looking for a lead singer throw me an email with your number or call him directly 727-812-9094

Patty & J, you guys rock. We are pumped and very much looking forward to playing Bourbon Street on October 17, 2007. This is midstream in our Southern Invasion tour and we would like to offer to the first 10 people through the door the night of our show a free CD.

We will be brining our tunes from the midwest to the south and spreading the sounds of hard rock to all.

First, I gotta thank you all so much for performing at the 'Rock Solid Pressure Industry Showcase 2007'. Patty and Myself really love all of you, and we knew for fact that you would bring your A-Game to the stage, and you all DID!! You have made us very proud once again. We 'know' that some very good things will be happening for a lot of you 'soon'. I'm pretty sure you realize what went down and how your name is being spread throughout the 'real' music industry. We are not multi-millionaires who can afford to spend thousands, nor are the A&R guys who will be signing a lot of you. This was not a label event where the labels pay us to promote them. This was not an industry event that was filled with rhetoric and bullshit. The labels come to the showcase each year to sign bands 'period', and many of you will be basking in the glory of a new label. A lot of the bigger companies really hate us because we're not lining the corporates pockets, and we're not letting you by in to all their schemes. Nobody will ever own 'Rock Solid Pressure' or the ideals we stand for. we just want to see the 'right' bands get signed and stop the stuffed shirts from filling national playlists with crappy bands. It's at a point now where they 'know' we are trendsetters, and we have pretty much re-arranged the underground to work in our favor. Do you get it now? (Continued below)

There is still a 'second half' to what this is all about. Many labels, includin Ferret, Earache, and many many more of our top level affiliates will see this film first. As you know, we're in talks with VH1 Classic, and 'Fuse' about a license agreement for a special, so this is very interesting. If you would like us to forward over the panelists comments, let us know. This looks very good on your website and myspace promotion. Like I stated at the show, you are 'ALL' winners that we felt belonged on the stage this year. We were very blown away, and it really makes it all worthwhile for taking a year to promote your band for this show. I was also very impressed with the ferocity of your networking with the panelists and the other bands. I have heard that some of you are already planning tours together, and I applaud you for taking advantage of the opportunitys presented on Saturday. A lot of times we get bands with ego trips, don't network at all, don't chat up the labels, etc. My question to these bands are always 'Then why did you even want to play the Showcase?'. We have had 'many' of those types in the past two years. Our North East events were always a huge success and we got shades of that on Saturday. The networking was off the chains, so yes, Florida still has a chance to get with the program lol.

All in all, you did a spectacular job and I'll be working with many of you closely in the future.
Rock On!!!!

I personally want to thank Greg from BS for letting us start this RSP weekly showcase last Nov. to give unknown local bands a chance to play the biggest rock club on the Gulf Coast, and to get seen by J-Rock and Patty! We told everyone who played on a Wed. their hard work would pay off and for quite a few it did! Weekend gigs in front of bigger crowds, opening for national acts, getting radio play, and just simply getting exposed to J-Rock and his many contacts. This past weekend proved that RSP is a force to be reckoned with in the industry, you can get signed if you committ to promoting, practicing, and being professional every time you play Bourbon Street!

So lets raise the bar even higher now for next years crop of new talent. See you This Wed. night for the beginning of a new year of the RSP!

We just wanted to give an enoromous thank you to Bourbon Street for being such an awesome venue, it was definitely one of the best we've ever performed at. Everyone who worked there was extremely helpful and respectful (something you don't always encounter)and the owner was unbelievably cool.

Dave Fletcher-what can I say that you haven't already been told a million times before? You are an INCREDIBLE sound guy, we sounded our absolute best and we owe that completely to you. You are very talented and we thank you for your labor. It was an honor to work with you.

To all the bands that performed-you were awesome. There was so much talent going on at the show, it was so good to see so many other bands dedicated and passionate about what they do. We wish all of you the best of luck and hope that you see many positive results in your musical futures.

And last but certainly not least, J-Rock and Patty- the coolest, most helpful and generous people we know. THANK YOU. You do so much for us and no matter what happens we will never deny you. Thank you for including us and giving us such a great opportunity. You guys rock.

LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING TO BOURBON STREET-THE SQUIRRELS LOVE THIS PLACE!

Comments from Dave Fletcher on the Showcase:

It was a pleasure to work with so many TALENTED performers all in one place at one time. That compliment extends to the Rock Solid Pressure crew, including but not limited to:

J-Rock and Patty:
THE industry leaders in looking out for unsigned high-grade talent. Back in my day it was Ed Sullivan, now it's J-Rock and Patty! I know personally that they didn't get any sleep for the 48 hours before the show and didn't even give it a second thought. Their only concern was for YOU, the artists. They are UNPRECEDENTED in the industry and we all owe them our deepest gratitude.

Robert from KWTF and his staff:
This guy and his people are a great compliment to J-Rock and Patty and made sure I had what I needed, made sure it worked and gave me regular updates on the progress of the "Live Broadcast Feed" used to send out these quality performances to KWTF. His tireless effort was a breath of fresh air.

Mike King and Ed:
Worked throughout the day to get good shots of the bands for the DVD. They were professionals in every sense of the word. It will be a pleasure to work with them on future projects.

Greg Serio:
He made sure that we had everything we needed in place and working right, even affording me the time to completely rebuild the front of house console to ensure there were no glitches of any kind in the system anywhere. He is a club owner without parallel.

Chip Wedge:
Besides working the show, he made sure I had another console to use at front of house while the 6-day and night rebuilding of the Soundcraft Console went on. He is the one person I would have behind me "going through a door", because I know he'd have my back!

Lastly, You, the Artists. You were the most congenial, ego-less group of individuals gathered in one place at one time I have ever witnessed. It is my wish for all of you to get signed or be re-signed to another label as the case may be and in every case, "Let the bidding wars begin!" as you all deserve it! I hope these comments let you, the participants, know how the BSG (Bourbon Street Gang - Jon - Stage Hand, Brian - Monitors, Chip - Monitors and good cheer) and I feel about the amazing show we all witnessed from our respective locations. We were all blown away at YOUR professionalism and "Right Now" willingness to help anyone in another band in their time of need. This show was the best multiple act event I have ever worked on. And when you do get signed be sure to remember to thank J-Rock and Patty for making your dreams come true! (Especially when receiving your 1st Grammy!) - what goes around comes around, eh? The best of luck to all of you!

Hi
Fellow Metalheads I just wanted to say how cool it is that Bourbon Street exists and that great bands like Kamelot and others play there ,I do not know them personally but I had a band in the eighties that was in the same genre,we were called Virgin Steele I am glad that there are places where this kind of metal can be heard and that in America there is still an audience for this ,So keep the Metal Burning,Jack
